Charlotte RANDELL 1838

Charlotte Randell was born in the April quarter of 1838. She appears in the 1841 census as daughter of William Hunter Randell and Elizabeth Moore. The family was living in Cock Street, North Walsham and her father was a Carpenter.
By 1851 the family were living in Chapel Street, North Walsham.
Ten years later, 22 year old, Charlotte Randall, spelt with an 'a' was a Housekeeper in the home of Farmer, Samuel Johnson. Samuel ran a 248 acre farm in Dilham, Norfolk. Interestingly, Dilham was to become the future home of Charlotte's sister, Matilda. By 1861 Matilda had married Robert Harmer and settled in the village. The location of the farm of Samuel Johnson was not recorded but it was a large opperation, covering an area, almost three times the national average.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find any further reference to Charlotte in the census record. Several Charlotte Randells make various appearances in the years to come but none fit the criteria of being born in the correct time or place.

ANCESTRY ~ James / John / William Hunter / Charlotte

John RANDELL 1843

John Randell was born in the October quarter of 1843 in North Walsham. In 1851 he was living in Chapel Street, North Walsham, with his parents William Hunter Randell and Elizabeth Moore. Also in the home, was his sister Charlotte and his two brothers James and Christmas.
Unfortunately, like his sister Charlotte, he doesn't appear in any further census. It seems most likely he died around age ten.

ANCESTRY ~ James / John / William Hunter / John
